ABOUT ME

Hey, I’m Umang, a UX/UI designer helping teams build interfaces that not only look clean but feel effortless to use.

I started designing back in 2013 through international design contests, where I went on to win over 50 of them on 99designs. It was a fast-paced, high-stakes environment that taught me how to blend speed with sharp attention to detail.

In 2015, I joined a digital agency as a graphic designer. Over time, I transitioned fully into UI work, eventually leading the UI design team by 2019. I stayed on until 2024, working on a wide range of products and sharpening both my visual and product thinking skills.

I currently collaborate with startups, founders, and product teams to craft thoughtful, conversion-focused experiences.

I’m available for select design partnerships and full-time roles with teams building meaningful digital products.

Umang made the design process easy. He needed little direction and was one of those designers who "got it" the first time. His use of typography, layout, and general design is hard to come by these days. Everyone thinks they are a designer, but few can understand how elements and type work together to form a cohesive, meaningful design that isn't fraught with amateur approaches and learn-as-you-go design work. His design was the first submitted, and it withstood some tough competition. I don't have time for juniors, I need experts. Umang is an expert. Oh and another thing - not a single misspelling in the design. This shows a command of the English language and an attention to detail.
